First Birthday Party

The police showed up about 2 hours into the party. I guess one of the neighbors called when they saw several toddlers passed out on our front lawn with cool-aid mustaches- or maybe it was because of the loud Wiggles music blaring from our speakers. The street was littered with juice boxes and several of the cars parked on the block were streaked with cake frosting and ice-cream.

Ok - I made all that up.

The party went off without a hitch today. Much fun was had by all. The afternoon included lots of gifts from friends and family, T was covered with chocolate frosting, and we ate lots of great food. Thanks to all for coming. T really loved being surrounded by his friends and family.

Before the party we ran around like crazy getting everything all ready. I decided to get up extra early at 5 AM and rode 18.5 miles. I followed up with a .5 mile run - just because it felt so great!

Anyway - Birthday number one is in the books. We're exaughsted. Whew!
