A fun weekend

I had a great weekend. Took a little break (well, OK, a forced break courtesy of M) from my long Saturday workouts to have a nice pancake breakfast with the family. What a blast! After we had all cleaned up, we went out shopping for some new duds. M scheduled a late afternoon photo session with Sears. I bought some pants that fit (finally!) and a new shirt. M got a new skirt and a couple shirts. T made off with a new shirt. When we got home I turned on football and milled around the house catching up on chores.

SideBar: Poor Baylor - not a single point in 2 weeks. Texas gave them quite a lashing.

We headed out for pictures in the afternoon and stopped in at Party City to get the last of the birthday party stuff. Today begins T's first "birthday week". The whole event ends in a party on Saturday. His first birthday! Family from near and far are coming in starting on Thursday.

We finished off the night watching the Tech game. M and I had a BLAST watching the game. That girl is a football fan when she wants to be!

Sunday was dedicated to chores. I managed to polish off a short brick (10mi bike / 2.65mi Run) in the afternoon. It felt great to get out and sweat. Finally we had a nice dinner and played with T for the rest of the evening.

I have some good video of his pre-walking antics. I'll try to get it edited and posted sometime this week.

The family-in-law got back from Vegas yesterday. (Roberto, Kathy - how weird that they saw Tracy's group at the airport?, Amers) Turns out they nearly took down Mandalay Bay at the Roulette wheel. Those sharks! (Well, can you be a shark at Roulette? - Anyway...) Sounds like they had a blast. They won't tell us any details... something about "What happens in Vegas stays in..." well, whatever.
